Unfortunately we just canceled our plans to camp at Blue Spring State Park this coming weekend (March 13th thru 15th).  About three weeks ago, we took ownership of our new Coyote Lite CL232SS.  At that time, we decided to camp at a campground near the dealership so we could give it a good once-over and if we found any major problems we could simply drop it off at the dealership for repair instead of towing it all the way home only to have to return it later.  As it turned out, we did find an item that we felt the dealership could resolve, so we left the TT with them and drove home.

Now nearly three weeks have gone by and we are being told that KZ has not given the dealership the approval to perform any warranty work on the TT.  Concerned about this, I checked with the Goin’ KZ discussion group and immediately found another person in the same predicament, only he has been waiting six weeks!  I don’t have to tell you that my disappointment level climbed a few notches.  The repair was something I could have done myself and would have felt pretty good about the results, but it was more the principal of it all; finding a problem with a new purchase should be immediately covered by the company & sales organization.

I certainly do not want this to drag out for another three weeks as the person I just described has been going through.  We are ready to go camping.

I’ll write an update when I hear anything new.
